Description: The Luxembourg International Science Expo (LISE) is a non-competitive international science exhibition organized by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg (FJSL). It brings to Luxembourg young award-winners from national and international science contests and events, offering them a framework to present, exchange, and connect around their projects.
The 2025 edition of LISE brought together 26 countries and territories. Unfortunately, we lost four delegations due to visa-related constraints, but we were nevertheless able to include a team from Palestine, which was particularly important to us, both educationally and on a human level.
In total, LISE 2025 welcomed 64 projects and 120 participants. Young people present their projects through booths (posters, demonstrations, prototypes depending on the case) and take part in a programme of activities and exchanges that fosters intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and the sharing of practices.
LISE 2025 therefore stands as an international platform for exchange between young people passionate about science and technology, while also highlighting Luxembourg as a place of welcome, cooperation, and openness. For the next editions, we aim to increase the size of the event again by strengthening our hosting capacity and consolidating logistical support for delegations in order to further secure international participation.
